The Original BOYA BY-BM2021 Camera-Mount Shotgun Microphone is a compact, lightweight mic designed to improve the sound quality of vlogs, YouTube shorts, Facebook clips, and other video content created with DSLR/mirrorless cameras, smartphones, and other devices with a 3.5mm input jack.
The BY-BM2021 offers a real plug-and-play design that mounts directly to your camera’s shoe mount with no battery required. The super cardioid polar pattern focuses on audio capture directly in front of the microphone, reducing other surrounding sounds and background noise.
The mic is built with ABS plastic construction and features a shock mount to absorb noise-causing vibrations. The supplied foam windscreen helps to reduce wind noise. Also included is a 3.5mm TRS to 3.5mm TRS cable for cameras, camcorders, and audio recorders, along with a 3.5mm TRS to 3.5mm TRRS cable for smartphones, tablets, and other devices.
